I'm pretty sure I have my answer but just want to make sure.

Sig 228 and 229 take the same barrels?
and by extension the 229 barrel will work in the Norc NP-34 (228copy)?

If I'm making this up and blowing steam out random openings, please kindly correct me.

The reason I ask, is simply that I am looking for a spare barrel for a NP34

ok thanks. that actually clarifies a few things for me. all though i've been doing alot of thinking a will probably just wind up buying a 229 anyways.. LOL
 
Anyone know if any nickel 228's made it into Canada? Found one in the U.S. want to buy as a gift for my bro down there, Beautiful looking pistol for sure wouldn't mind finding one here.
