The new SIG rifle is on the FRT disk and is prohibited, atleast thats what the last thread said. There will be no crappy american made 556 in canada.

The good part about the 556 is that it takes AR mags...

And that it's quite a bit lighter than the all-steel Swiss Arms.

It seems that a lot of Swiss Arms owners don't want to see this gun imported into Canada. If it turns out that the "crappy American made 556" is essentially the same gun as the 100% more expensive Swiss version, the resale value of the later will drop faster than Nortel stock.
