Sight-mount: red dot sight mount

Not even sure why/how I was looking for this, but I ran across this and thought it was kinda interesting. Its from sight-mount.com. Thoughts?

Interesting, there's some YouTube videos up on these. Smart idea if it holds solid, optic sits a bit higher than if the slide is milled from the looks of it.

Can't see why it wouldn't hold up. I believe there is two screws at the rear. They screw into a piece that was slid into the dovetail. There is one hole that you need to drill and tap for the front of the mount. Almost makes me want to make one!

A lot higher, since milled slides allow some degree of co-witness. Though, it's probably not any higher than an open gun.

Here's mine on my cz shadow. Excellent fit, easy to install, with a Vortex Venom red dot. I've fired over 2000 rds and no probems-----still holds zero. (the gun is way more accurate than I'll ever be).

Looks good snooker! Did you drill and tap the forward hole? Canadian source for the mount or did you buy direct?
