As the title states,

What are your preferences?

I currently own 2 hand guns, a glock 22 G3 and a s&w m&p9 2.0.

On my glock I have the trijicon yellow HD. Personal opinion, I am finding it hard to line the shot with both eyes open. For some reason my eyes don't want to work in that aspect.

The s&w is still stock however the 3 dot I can instantly acquire the sight picture. INSTANTLY....

I've heard of the f/o sights but lots of reviews claim them being fragile.

ATM I am aiming towards the tough and bright trijicon a for my s&w due to the fact they would be able to replicate the stock 3 dots.

Sorry if this has been reviewed / discussed in the past

For night sights, I have all green 3 dot, or green front/yellow rear. Trijicon, Ameriglo, Meprolight...they all work the same.

On 1911's that are customized, I prefer the simplicity of a gold bead front, black rear. Heirloom Precision makes a Gold Line front sight too.

My Sig P239's factory Von Stavenhagen sights are perfectly aligned, not going to mess around changing those.

I have a Heinie Slant Pro rear site and Dawson red fibre optic front site on my Glock 22, very fast to acquire the sights. I will probably put something similar on my G19.

I like the Hi-Viz fibre optic sights for actual range use. Their lite-pipes are swappable and on the rear sight, you can even put in black Litepipes to get a blacked rear and bright front if that turns out to be your preference.

They are steel and have a full cage around the fibreoptic parts, so are pretty robust, and have a nice profile for holstering.

On some guns I have night sights, which I don't like as much for the range, but would be a good choice if we could carry or for if you needed something for home defence.
