Can anyone suggest an adjustable sight system for an Israel Arms M-5000 1911? It has a flat top slide, and a dovetail front sight. The front and rear sight seems to be the same as on the Norinco "Police" model. I would prefer something that required no milling of the slide if available. I'm looking for something good quality, but not ridiculously priced, as I don't shoot this gun too often. Anyone have any recommendations? Thanks

Best to check with Gunnar at Armco. He sold a few of these and might know of a drop in replacement sight.
Most will require fitting though.

I have heard of some gun made by Norinco, but assembled in Israel, and marked as Israeli made.
Because of this, it is allowed to be imported into the US.
Is this the one?

South, I haven't done anything yet lol. I hardly get any range time in so it's not practical for me to spend the money at this time. When I shoot the gun I take my time and I'm getting use to the sights. I believe that the rear is a standard 1911 dovetail, but the front is an odd cut. When spare funds are available I will probably have it machined for something adjustable.
