Hey guys, I just got my dust cover rail mounted on my VZ 58 with my Sightmark Ultra Shot Pro mounted to the rail, however I now find that the sight is sitting high and I have to 'jaw weld' to get a decent sight picture. Any recommendations on a decent M4 style buttstock with a decent riser on it? What have you done to compensate for a high sight like this on your VZ58?

You can get risers for standard AR-15 stocks as well. They clip into the slots on the stock. The magpull stock looks a bit nicer though.

Any idea on where I can find these, my google-fu is apparently weak

Maybe look into the NEA upper guard. It sits low enough to co-witness with an optic and the sights.

Problem is I've already got the Dust cover mount from Corwin and any foregrip I put up front I'd like to keep on the same plane.

I've found pictures of an NEA Buttstock adapter that has a little rail on it, looks like it raises the buffer tube up to be in-line with the barrel, not sure if it would be high enough though. Unfortunately it appears to have been discontinued for some time and is nowhere to be found anymore.
