Sighted in a recently acquired 1950's (?) vintage FN Browning chambered in 30-06.

I mounted a 1-4 Trijicon and put several 150 grain plain-vanilla Hornady Interlocks through it.
The plan initially was to mount an older Leupold 2-7 in QD mounts, but the Trijicon really shines as a hunting optic. Bright and quick on the target. 1-4x is a nice range.

Distance was 100 metres, 3-shot groups from a standing rest. Pleased with the results.
Not sure how to rotate the images (they are laying 90 degrees on their left side

And this is why I rarely buy new production guns...I'll find me something 50-100 years old anyday over the new production stuff.

Great gun. Looks like an FN deluxe though, the Browning’s has stepped barrels and different checkering with no grip caps no? I have had a couple and they are a bit different than yours. Great gun either way.
