For any of you still following this thread, I will give you an update, Seems the owner of the riflle, had another way to fix the lack of adjustment in his scope when sighting in, he placed the rifle in a vise with some soft jaws and gave it a little tweak, and voila! , he gained 3 1/2" of adjustment at 35 yds, scope is close to where barrel points, after 25 shots with a 338 Lapua Mag. barrel does not walk around due to stress,still shoots 1" groups and cold barrel shots are still in the group, bye the way , rifle owner was suprised at how little effort it took to bend barrel and you cannot see any bend looking down barrel at a target, SO BE CAREFULL if you fall on your rifle, things can change in a hurry,and your rifle can be out a mile, ribber
