Just wondering what you guys think of the two scopes and what youd choose?
I had a 10-50x It was great but abit on the heavy side. The eye relief is better than Tascos 10-40x and less blury. However the tasco is $200 and the Sightron is $1000+
I sold the sightron but regret it now.
So now Im looking for another scope. 36x mag or more and $1000 or less. I like Nightforce but at 25% or more cost, it isnt for me.
Thanks for your help!!!

I have the SIII SS 10-50X60. on a Savage Arms Model 12 Benchrest. It's a ROCKSOLID Optic. Month after Month this thing stays on center even after several hundred rounds of .308 through it. For long range it is superb. Don't know if I would be humping through the bush with a 50x optic though. Open country shooting? Yup.

Ive had four members message me about their weavers. I asked awhile ago about this scope. Like the cost! However they all said the same thing, even Jerry at mystic said the same thing. The weaver 36x has alot of issues and there are big differences between every scope. Also the warrenty I hear is a pain to deal with unlike the sightron scopes.
I liked my 10-50x. Just wondering if the 36x for $400 less is worth it?
Im BR shooting at 40-200yds.
Thanks again any input is great!

If Jerry and other dealers stand as firm behind the Sightrons as it seems, why not get another. I have seen the glass on the new ones, I've seen it's equal a few times, but never better.

If you've already owned a Sightron you know how good the glass and tracking is. If you are only shooting out to 200 get a S111 6x24 or 8x32.

The 8-32x is $200 more and less than the 36x and the 10-50x.
Good suggestion but I like my high power scopes.
The tasco 10-40x was a cheap start. The S3 was alot more but alot less than a Nightforce.
Id be using the scope for percision shooting.
So does anyone have a 36x sightron to compare?

I had sightron 36x brd that was a 300 dollar model. I had an issue with it can not remember what, sent it back to sightron. I ended up upgrading with the a 8x56 for fairly cheap. Sightron has an excellent warranty and stand behind what they sell.
