Sightron 6-20x40(44?) target dot

I was looking at a used Sightron with the target dot. It looked very tiny. If you have one, tell me how you like it. To small for long range gophers (400)yd? Thanks

I had a fixed 36x with the tiny dot .I hated it and sold it right away.I much prefer a medium thickness reticle like the one on the Vortex PST or the nightforce NPR2.

Is there such a scope as a 6-20x4x? There is a Sightron Big Sky 6.5-20x50 that has a .25 target dot reticle. With the relatively large dot, it's probably great for silhouette shooting.

It's hard to retrieve information on Sightron scopes as the manufacturer's website doesn't want to come up today.

I think it is the Sll, a discontinued model. Replaced by the Big Sky

Gophers are small targets at 400 yds and a scope with a thick reticule won't improve accuracy , I have a few with fine crosshair and 1/8 target dot they are great buy it if it's a good price and you won't regret it
