So my search for a new 6-24 optic has me finally settled on the Sightron Siii 6-24x50 and I know Ill be buying it from Jerry at Mystic. Any local members with this optic willing to let me take a look thru the glass before I slap down my credit card? I had been looking at the Vortex PST, and the Elite Tactical as well. The PST is off the table for sure and in my head Im completely commited to the sightron just nice to see something before you purchase.

Cheers

I have owned a few Vortex products and havent been overly impressed. They have a stand up warranty but too many times with there optics I have had to use that warranty. I have looked thu a few different PST scopes and all seemed to have noticable differences in glass quality. I guess its hit or miss, if you can look thru the one your going to purchase then great, Im not flaming on Vortex as I know many people that have them and swear by them. Im going with Jerry at Mystic on this one as well as countless other members on here swearing by Sightron. I dont have Nightforce money to spend on this optic but from what Ive been told by many members here and in the precision forum for the money spent on the Sightron you are getting very good glass.

Simple... buy the scope, if it doesn't completely satisfy you when you take it out of the box, send it back and I will cover the postage.

There are precious few scopes that will match or beat it in the optics dept.

Sound cocky? Nope, just know the product and how good these are.

That's why I love you Jerry ;) call you in the morning with my order. I have changed my mind tho, I want to go 8-36x56, I measured my clearances tonight and I think I'd rather have the availability to turn down my magnification than waste the extra 2x at the bottom end considering right now im already running a fixed 10x. I'm new to this whole game I won't lie, high end optics to me have been 1-4x scopes but shooting all weekend with my new bolt gun was more fun than I've had in a long time. I'm not a precision shooter by any means but with factory AE bulk I was banging poker chips at 150 meters with a 20" SPS TAC .223 in a TAC-21 chassis.
