Hello,
I've done a little research and have decided on this scope for my rifle. Just had a couple of questions, is there a scope made by sightron with the same reticle only with 1moa hash marks instead of 2moa. Also, if the reticle is indexed at 24x magnification and the reticle is .25moa then what would the reticles MOA be at 32x.
Thanks

I have the exact same scope.

The answer to your first question is as of now the MOA2 reticle only available in 2 moa mash marks not sure if they offer something in the future or not.

If you are talking about center dot yes, its indexed for 0.25 moa @ 24x and it will be 0.188 moa in 32x according to this chart below hope it helps:

Thanks for the quick info, this scope looks to be a winner. Do you have a recommendation for rings? I have a EGW 20MOA base

A 20 MOA base leaves me with 55 MOA adjustment...could probaby go to a 30 MOA base or a 20 and burris rings with 10 moa.

I always come back to them even if i have more expensive ones, those Sightron are a great product at a fraction of the cost... JP.

Nice rifle, are the markings on the scope that orange color? Or is that just the lighting? I will be buying the scope and rings in person locally but it's good to know that medium rings is the place to start. If they have Sightrons I'm sure they have quality rings (Prophet River)

20 MOA base with Medium rings fits just perfectly with the 56mm objective. My particular set up and choice is a ATRS base with Night Force rings

Depending on which rail you have on there different manufacturer has different specs in terms of height you have to measure it and after you know your desire height after the objective clear the barrel and add 4mm for flip covers etc.

I like to use this method:

or this if you have the base already mounted:

Thanks Spcamno, but I'm just going to take the rifle down to the shop. I'm 7 blocks from them, and that way I know it's going to fit. I'll keep this info just incase I have to order bases/rings/scopes online in the future. This Optics section sure is more friendly then the Black and Green rifle section lol

The SIII10-50X60 uses the same reticle but because it goes up to 48X, the scaling becomes 1min between hash marks.

All SIII scopes of higher mag, index the reticle at 24X so the hash value gets smaller the higher the mag you use.

Can someone with the 8-32x56 LRMOA take a measurement of the outside diameter of the objective bell. If the scope comes with caps please include those in your measurement. Please use a caliper or similar device.
Thanks
