Sightron ? Need help deciding

I'm looking to buy a new toy,model 700 sps tactical AAC/SD. My main interest is deer hunting,but would like to set this rifle up to shoot long distance ( + - 600 yd ) with some friends, as well as hunting.Ive been looking at the sightron scopes,and can't decide what I should have, I like the 8-32x56 because of the power and adjustability, but is it going to be to much for hunting.

You can't have the best of everything BUT a 4-16 or even a 3-12 with good glass and reticle will easily get you past 600 yards and still be alright for a hunting setup.

A Zeiss Conquest may be on your menu also, they offer 4.5-14 and 6-20 with nice fine reticles.
 
The 6x24 Sightron may be the perfect scope for you then.
You should give Jerry a call at Mystic Precision, a Sightron dealer who does lots of long distance shooting, and see if that's what he recommends.
