I was looking at a couple of different Sightron Scopes The SIII SS 6-24x50 LR MD, SIII SS 8-32x56 LR D and the SIIB 6-24x42 MD and was wondering if any of these would be a good choice for a Model 12 LRPV in a .223 for benchrest shooting? I am thinking about starting at about 300yds then push out to 1000yds eventually even if I have to rebarrell to a 6mm down the road. My real goal would be to able to get a good group at 600yds with the .223 before going to a different caliber. Also I am having a hard time finding Canadian pricing for those scopes, anyone able to help with that?

Thanks

SIII SS 6-24x50 LR MD

this is the one I have on my savage/shilen mod 12

what a great scope stays perfectly clear all the way through 24X
I am planning on a nother one in the near future........mine was 1300.00 to my door (or really close to that)

Talk to Jerry Teo at Mystic Precision ( mysticplayer ) and he will set you up

Just send me a PM with your questions. Happy to help.

Sightron SIII has some of the best optics on the market today especially their 6X24. Mildot reticle is a bit heavy in size but great for boulder blasting.
