Sightron S-TAC 2.5-17.5X56 Thoughts?

Hey Folks,
I just started putting together a target/precision rig, picked up a Savage 10tr today, and have been researching scopes, I was leaning towards vortex pst but have read some reviews and heard the quality isn't there for what I am looking for, now I am leaning towards a sightron (nightforce would be nice but I have to eat lol), I have zero experience with sightron optics so hoping someone can tune in and give me some info

I'm looking to upgrade from a Vortex Viper HST 4-16 to the Sightron SIII 6-24 LRFFP/MH, I am also rocking the 10tr. I find that at 500-600 metres, that the 16X is not enough so I wanted to go higher power. I also have a few first focal plane scopes (different brand) and I find them very useful for target shooting. Having the turrets match the reticle is key. Anyhow, I am going to try the Sightron, have heard great reviews and everyone raves about the glass.

I had a PST and a SIII both in ffp and SIII glass is better when light conditions get more complicated.
I also cheked SIII and NXS in 8-32 and I could never see something in one that I could not in the other one.

Unless you want to beat it up and need a tank, you cannot go wrong with a SIII.
