Sightron S1H experiences??

I'm looking for actual experience with anything from this S1H line. I'm not looking for top end quality out of a $200-300 scope. As long as the glass is clear and it functions as it should I'm happy.

This will be used for my CZ 455 .22lr, shooting paper at 50m. Until now, I had a Viper 3-9 on it, which I love. But I'm considering moving that over to a rem 700 as a temporary replacement for another scope I had and traded (long story!!)

I'll be upgrading at some point but for now I need to keep shooting.

Are the S1H scope a hit or a miss as an entry level offering from Sightron?
 
I have several of them on different hunting rifles. Probably the best "bang for the buck" around. No issues, and peace of mind buying from a local distributor should warranty work ever be needed. Certainly better quality than the equally priced Bushnell and Tasco offerings.

Basically that's what I was wondering. Is it worth the cash VS one of the more well known brands. I might give one a go. It'll be nice to bump up to a 12x for my .22 without spending my whole allowance.

Funny, after posting this I got to thinking about optics. At work today typed up ads for 2 rifles I was thinking I could sacrifice. I got home, pulled them out to take some pics and...nah! Back in the safe they go. They're both the 3rd rifle ive owned of each respective model. I keep buying , selling, missing and buying again. I just know I'd be looking to buy them again the second they're gone. So they will stay...for now.
 
I have two, both SIH 3-9x40 HHR reticle. One on a 308, the other on my ML 50 cal. Clear and hold zero. I'd say the glass is better than vortex HST ( I have one). Worth their $ IMHO.
 
For a rimfire, you will probably want something with a/o or specifically made for rimfires with 50m parallax.
Nikon make some nice rimfire scopes in the sub $200 range.
 
Some of the S1H models are adjusted down to 8yds. Sightron also indicates they are rated for springer air rifles, so yes they can withstand some significant recoil forces.
