Sightron scopes?

i just ordered a Tikka varmint in 300 wm. The purpose of this gun is for big game such as moose, elk and black bear. As well, when time permits I want to get proficient in longer range target and hunting. The target is simply for fun and to challenge myself not competition. I have been looking at scopes for my new toy and want something with higher magnification without giving up close range field of view. Can anyone offer their insight on Sightron S Tac 2.5x17.5? Thx
