Sightron has been busy with their overwhelming success in their SIII LR lineup.

They are now offering more reticles options in the super popular 8x32 (dot, target dot, FCH and mildot) and introducing a super high mag variable target scope.

Just announced, the new 10X50-60 target scope will be here for early 2010 at a cost 1/3 less then the nearest competition. Lots of elevation for such a high mag scope, reticles suited to target/competition shooting and 1/8min clicks which we have been bugging them for all year.

If the optics are of the same amazing quality as the other SIII scopes, this will be a game changing product.

For those looking for MASSIVE amounts of elevation adjustment, they now have 3 fixed mag scopes to fill the bill.

Fixed 10, 16 and 20X with a multipoint mildot reticle, these scopes have 150mins of UP. Still a small, light and compact scope, it will work well on a huge range of rifles.

If the goal is to push a 308 or 223 to a mile without goofy 100yd zeros, this is the scope for you. I can't think of another scope with this much elevation.

Now taking orders.... PM me with your interests.

Thinner reticals coming for the rest of the line-up, especially mill-dot?

Those two look fantastic!

Sightron has really paid attention to the various surveys and tons of phone calls pleading them to change their reticle designs. I expect that the specs on their website need a bit of tweaking but they are definitely going with the finer lines in the high mag scopes.

I can say that their FCH is super super fine and fantastic for BR type shooting.

Yes, Sightron is one of the first to produce a 50X target scope and certainly the first to have one marketed under $3000US or more.

The big unknown will the quality of the optics. Right now, their 24X and 32X smoke anything in their price range and best some scopes costing much much more.

Durability and tracking have been proven by a bunch of shooters in the US and in Canada.

Looking forward to seeing what their product line will offer.

Who says great optics have to cost a small fortune????

Been waiting a while for this :D.

How much MOA on the 10-50x? Also any idea of price?

Looks like 50 moa from the spec sheet. 70 moa for the 8-32x.

I am not supposed to put pricing in an open forum so please go to my website for pricing.

Dirt cheap for what it offers. If you click on the reticle style, you will get the specs from the Sightron site

50 mins of travel and a 3.8 to 4.5" of eye relief - that is more then some dangerous game scopes!!!

Big heavy scope at 29oz but not that much more then a generic NF

I am taking preorders now. The first run will certainly be sold out long before scopes hit the shelves so please let me know. In general, there is a 2 to 3 month lag between shipments.

Thanks,

Jerry

Wow Jerry, those are SIIIIIICK :D

I'm glad I've been holding off on 8-32x I was so close to get that one....this one is just a tax-return away....LOL

I have to recover after a bunch of rifle purchases, but when I do go to order it'll be a multiple scope order.

Glad to see they change some of the flaws. Now we just need to pester then to make the eye relief fixed for the entire magnification range. :D

I think you will find that the Sightron have one of the most consistent eye reliefs of these mega mag scopes. Using both 6x24 and 8x32, the eye position is very easy to use. Plus the eye relief is massive.

Most scopes with this much mag need you to be very close to the eye piece and head location is critical. You can use these SIII just like any conventional varmint scope which makes it very nice.

Eye relief is larger then most reg. scopes so this bad boy could work on some bigger kicking LR boomers.

I am presently playing with their SII Big Sky 36X AO target scope. For those looking for a lower priced high mag scope, a very nice product. Again, massive amounts of eye relief and a very wide eye box. A wider field of view to when compared to the Weavers.

One of the best parts, the AO also works well when dialing out at longer distances. Most high mag scopes really don't focus/adjust much once you go past 300 on the dial. This scope does allowing you to really dial in far away objects clearly.

Sightron is really raising the bar for high mag scopes....
