I'll give the PST 6-24x50 FFP some thought. Looking at the Vortex website it says the reticle is .04MIL in thickness. The amount of features for the price is nice, as is the Warranty, but I find both these pros to be a little gimmicky. I've owned many SIIIs and one PST. I prefer the Sightrons but could be convinced to go Vortex again. Unfortunately, I don't have 2000-3000$ to drop on something nicer ... Especially since prices seem to jump from 1000$ right to 2000$.
Most of the GAP team runs those or the 4.5-30x at PRS matches.

Here is a fairly comprehensive review of it with high end scopes:

There are some errors and some of his finding are a bit off, but it's still has a ton of great info.
Here is a video of someone using that scope (on an AI!):

Tac matches down south have a lot of things like that structure he's in, concrete pipes, old cars and stuff like that you have to shoot from. People end up banging their scope at some point... I have yet to see mention of a Sightron at any serious tactical match. The glass quality may be great, but looking at them I wouldn't think they would handle being banged anywhere near as well as that Bushnell.
I have owned a Sightron 6-24 scope with the reticle in the sfp. Currently own the Bushnell dmr 3.5-21ffp. The Bushnell is way heavier duty than the Sightron especially the turrets, but the Bushnell is also a heavier scope. The little screw on the top of the Sightron turret is a joke. That being said the glass was very nice. I wouldn't go back to sfp after using a ffp scope. You can measure your misses with the reticle on any power. I usually shoot around the 10 to twelve power range. Measuring misses on any power when you need more field of view is the biggest advantage to ffp for me.
