SIGHTRON SIII Question.

For my needs the 10X50X60 LRTD is the best reticule, my new Sig SSG 3000 308 will be mounted with this scope, doesnt get better than that... JP.

Got my SIII. I know I should be thankful for saving about 300$ but the seller told me it was AS_NEW. He should of told me about the scope ring scratches and the safe kiss on the bell of the scope that took a chip of paint off.

As much as I love this place I hate shady people. Im still contemplating about the feedback I will leave.

What do you guys think.

Advertised as "As New" should come AS NEW. If it doesn't come like it would new in box you give the seller a chance to make it right. If they aren't willing to make it right, something that you can both agree on as making it right, then you leave negative feedback.

I agree. I don't care if it's the clearest scope in the world, that certainly isn't "As new". The ad sounds inaccurate.

Before anything you should contact the seller and politely explain your grievance and see if he is willing to work with you on it. Some guys make honest mistakes like that and have no problem making it right with the buyer ASAP, I'm one of them. Of course if he gives you guff and tries to blow it off then leave appropriate feedback.

The first thing you should do is definitely contact the seller and see what they are willing to do. Most of us don't want negative feedback left. I had a situation with one of the guns that I purchased from the EE that it wasn't as advertised and questioned the seller about it, he was willing to make it right and everything worked out fine in the end.

Well gave the seller a week to reply and he hasn't, hes been online since so I guess he got my money and doesn't give a chit now.

So This is my 1st ever bad deal on CGN. Kinda sucks.

Did you leave bad feedback so we can see who to trust or not?

I wont know until I hit the range I guess.

The best part will be the retaliation feedback. Then I know he checked his PM's... lol

Scope ring buff marks aren't unusual for a used scope BUT I totally agree, if someone lists it "like new" I would not expect to find dings or scratches in the finish unless it was disclosed at the very beginning. If the seller isn't even bothering to reply by and make things right, guess that goes to show what kind of character he/she is.

I'm more frustrated that I wasn't told about the marks. and I asked for detail pics to be sent to my email. Guess what that side of the tube wasn't shown.
