Sightron SIII SF adjustment very stiff

How many people have this problem? My SF is very stiff to turn in the summer. Is there any way to ease it up a bit? A guy wont be able to turn it at all once winter hits. That could pose a problem

I have a 8-32x56 with what I consider the same problem....the side focus is in my opinion extremely stiff, stiff to the point that at first you don't think its going to move. I've sent a email to sightron months ago and haven't recieved any response at all. I love the scope but hate the side focus tension....one thing is I dont have to worry about the adjustment moving unintentionally...lol.
Would be nice to know if this can be repaired under warranty.

Any chance the scope rings are tighter than 20in lbs? This can do that.

from what I've read, all sightrons are that way. I'm looking for a side wheel to help with fine adjustment!

where is Jerry from Mystic? from what i've read on these forums, he is the Yoda of Sightrons. He will have the answer.

In the beginning, SF were loose.... customers complained.

Now they are tight.... Be careful what you wish for.
