Sightrons warranty? how inclusive?

Hey all,

Wondering if any of you guys has had experience in dealing with sightron's warranty through Hirsch.

I dropped my SIII8-32x56SS on its elevation turret, now it is crooked.

Maybe more damage was done internally too, don't know.

Wondering if it is worth while trying to warranty this thing or is it garbage

I had one Sightron go south, 6x24 S111.

Sent it to Hirsch had it back in 6 weeks or so.

The elevation turret was messed up internally and both turret 'knobs' had the markings wore off from my rough fingers I guess.

They replaced both turrets and knobs.

I'd send it and see what happens, a repair at your expense may be much less than a new one.
