So I have a Walther PPQ M2 that is my IDPA gun. I'd like to switch the sights out on it.

Any suggestions on sights? And gunsmith suggestions?

I'm in the GTA area of Ontario

Don't know if the are available for Walther PPQ M2 but I like Warren Sevigny Competition sights with the fiber optic front sight.

M1(Navy), M2 and Q5 have different rear sights.

The OP said he had a PPQ M2, so that's what I based my reply on.

Regardless, any sight installation can be done at home with a few basic tools. I install all my Glock sights using a padded vice, hammer, nylon punch, file, and a ground down 3/16 nut driver.

I'd contact Casey at Tactical Ordnance. He is super busy, but will not accept your firearm and leave you hanging. Everytime I have had work done, he will say bring it in around September (example) and will be done in 10 days (example) . It's usually done before the deadline.

If you are going to use the gun for IDPA you will want a fibre optic front sight not night sights. Some like the fibre optic tubes in the rear sight as well. Personal preference is what it comes down to. Green seems to be the colour of choice for shooting outdoors. Red I am told works better indoors. I don't shoot much indoors so cannot comment with certainty. Google is your friend and I would do a search to get an idea what is out there for sights that fit the Walther.

Take Care

Bob
