Sights with topped rifle

Hi guys, I'm sure that it been asked before but do the M-14 different scope mounts still allow the sights to be use as normaly? (arms, king's,...)

Very high or See-thru rings will, but they also put your head in an awkward place. Loust cheek position on the stock.
