Anyone put these scopes through their paces ? How is warranty service ?

Looking to scope my new TC venture and am on a budget. Saw some at an awesome price but wondering if they are worth the effort.

If there is already a link on this topic that would be great. The search feature never seems to work for me.

I was likely the first one to get the new SIII LR scopes into Canada and am very impressed with their optics. Mechanicals have also tracked fine with many other positive posts on major US boards.

Lots of elevation and windage adjustment too. About 1/2 the price of the NF and offer better performance in some areas.

I am presently using their new SII Big Sky side focus 6.5X20 w/mildot 1" scope. Again, the optics at 20X are very impressive. For a 1" high mag variable, there is also lots of adj. Tracking has been right on too.

So far, have not had to use the warranty at all but it would require sending back to the US. There is no problem with reexport as Sightron has the forms to send out due to warranty repair.

These new gen Sightrons offer some of the best optics of scopes in its price range and some costing much more. Exterior finish is equal to any. Most have target turrents so dialing around is easy.

overall, really nice scopes...
