So I am aware of what is happening with Sigmaco so please don’t hijack the thread.

A week and a half ago I put an order in for a quad rail. I did have some communication with someone about my order but there was radio silence after that.

I checked the website periodically to see if anyone else ordered a quad rail and lo and behold they ended up out of stock a few days later. I’m just wondering if anyone has had an update who has purchased in the last week to two weeks.

a little over 2 weeks ago i ordered a quadrail on a wednesday. by friday i had not heard anything so i emailed them. got a reply within a few hours saying they are only shipping once a week and had just shipped "a couple days ago" so they "wouldnt ship again until sometime next week"

i didnt get a tracking number and on march 7th the quadrail arrived. so a week+1 day from order placed to received.
 
Appreciated. Something similar to me- I emailed got same response but have yet to receive, nor did I get tracking number. Thank you

i actually thought he'd too much "in the works" and should have focused more on selling than developing.
 
I ordered from them back in late February and got my item, no problem. Can't speak to anything more recent than that, though, as everything else I want to buy from them is currently out of stock.
 
Why aren't all the engineers and backyard dudes trying to copy these designs (or design their own)? Why wait for a company who is thought to be currently out of business?

Just a question.

i dont know about you but I dont have a CNC lathe lying around

CNC runs aint cheap by most individuals standards. To be competitive in pricing you need to make 50-100 plus unit orders which can end up being 5 to 10 grand. Definitely gotta know what your doing when it comes to design and measurements. Cus you only really get the one shot, rework usually blows your profit margin out of the water haha

All i know is the guy makes great stuff, was super awesome to deal with and stood behind his work. Hope he gets back to making awesome parts! I hardly trust anything that comes out of the media or our overlords mouths these days, so ill keep my judgment on my own experience with this guy, which has been fantastic.

correct, and remember this was all done during the C21 amendments so he was will to gamble with a small order but not larger to meet the demand bcos he might get caught with his pants down, lol.

I believe he also worked at a CNC shop, so that changes the game alot when your only investment could be personal time, material costs, cutting tools, fasteners and coating. Running products on your personal time.

Pretty much my thoughts on the matter. All my interactions with the guy were great, and he makes some of the coolest things for our toys. I'm going to withhold any judgement until something more concrete comes out, I don't think any of us really trust anything reported by the main stream media.

Because he's in this thread, definitely gotta say I like the side rail made by Murray 3-D the best though

For those interested I placed an order on the Sigmaco site, we will see what happens.

I've no idea what is going on or the latest news, but I contacted Sigmaco about a year ago for some parts and they got back to me to state something to the effect of 'text me what you want and we can go from there'.
Texted several times with radio silence on all occasions.

Pretty disappointing considering he is local.
I'm glad others have been happy with service and product from them.

thats strange bcos a year ago everything was hunky dory, it all started when he was charged a few months ago.
