Sigpro mag dissasembly?!

Hi there folks, as a person with no experience taking apart mags built for only 10 rounds (with the large plastic baseplate) I have no idea how to get them apart, and of course the manual is no help (printed for normal magazines).

Can anyone out there tell me how to go about it?

I have never taken apart a Sig Pro mag. but I have lots of 226 and 229 mags. I just checked Sig's website and they appear similar. For the 226/229 10 rnd. mags you have to push the button on the floor plate (try using a pen to reach the button) the same as a "real" mag and then slide the plastic assembly forward. They can be a bit finicky and remember the spring is under lots of tension. Good luck.

If it is like a Sig P226 10round mags it is easy: Take a small punch (or pin of some sort) under the mag, you will find a small round recess. Use your punch to push in the recess and slide your base plate foward. Remove your punch and slide the plate off (watch out for the magazine spring). Yours should be the same.
