Hi Everyone

I'm looking for new glass for my 6BR. Purpose is long range target shooting (300-700m) and maybe coyote hunting down the road. I've got a Falcon Menace 4-14x FFP metric right now and I like the scopes features, but I find that with a FFP scope, as you zoom in the reticle grows. In this case, seems to cover 1/3 or 1/4 of an inch at 100m. Fine for coyote hunting, but not too great for really really small targets lol.

I've narrowed it down to two of them, the Sightron S3 6-24x Mil Dot Metric, or the Viper PST 6-24 EBR-1 Metric. Both seem like they have good reviews with lots of fanboys on both sides. My shooting buddy has a high end Vortex scope, and a S3. Different models than I'm looking for, but both seem to be finely made.

I'm interested if anyone has used both and which ones they found worked well. Also, I am looking for a good place to buy vortex scopes in canada.

Thanks,

Barry

I just got a PST in FFP 6-24 with the EBR-1. I love it, clear, turrets are very positive, illuminated reticle (good for when you hunt coyotes in dark hours). excellent warranty too. straight up over the counter replacement, talking with my local store and it apparently turns out that if your brought back just the bell (which means you tried to disarm a bomb and with it and it went south lol) you can still get a replacement. my 2 cents.
