that is neat, i know they were using silenced ruger 22s in israeli army as non lethal alternatives....just shot for the kneecaps but it never seemed to work out that way....

With CCI quiets and subsonic no silencer is needed can just about hear the action working. Very unique and one of my favorites, have one with less than 100 rds through it and the sticker from the factory finally curled off.

With most semi autos they either won't cycle with weak sub sonic ammo or are loud due to escaping gas.A Wellrod is a different story self contained silent weapon.........Harold

Yes the ones with the big top mounted drums.I knew 10/22's were used and the Beretta 70 pistols that sold here a year ago or so.I saw a 1911 pistol altered to shoot a silence steel dart as well for sentry disposal.......neat stuff.Harold

Sonics used to be in Atlanta Georgia. Most of their stuff was made for mac10 smgs. I went there back in the day

They were also used in Vietnam by Special forces and the CIA.

My cousin used one and said that when firing on full auto it sounded like a dentists drill.
