Silent Lake Prov Park, Ont - hunting experience?

Anyone have any experience hunting on park land/crown in or near Silent Lake provincial park?

Deer? Turkey? Duck?

What's the hunter population like? Sparse or crowded?

There are some established camps in that area and the camps have been hunting the area for over 60 years.
I have been there and some times it is crowded.

Yes - There are lots of established hunt camps in the area, deer season is busy. Bear in mind that some of these camps are on crown land, by lease arrgt.

I have been Summer camping in Silent lake for app 15 years
go for the kids canoeing and the beach
Maybe I have just been in the wrong place to see all the wildlife
one year the Morning we showed up A Bear and her cubs walked through the area we to camp (8am we were threre at 10:30) bear banger were used
one year Saw 4 deer walk through one grassy area when we were having Coffee 20 or so yards away Kids got a treat
one year had a Owl sit in a tree between our campsite and the next one
Maybe see 1 or 2 deer along the road each year but you dont see deer too often after lunch
Packing up one year found salamanders 5 under the edge of the tent
frogs fish chippy wood peckers
