I am preparing for my first smallbore silhouette shoot and would like suggestions for a reasonably priced scope for my .22. I am thinking of the below features.
What are most competitors using:

Variable power 6-24?
1/2 MOA dot
1/4 MOA adjustments
Adustable Objective
Turrents that re-zero w/o tools

Any suggestions on scopes for this application would be appreciated.
Must be available in Canada.

Don't know what you classify as reasonably priced but Leupold is coming out with a fixed 25 and 30 power scope. There is also the weaver fixed 24 and then the bushnell 6-24 with dot. All these scope will be in the 550.00 and up range.

The Weaver fixed is probably the best for the buck, if you can get one in Canada. The 1/2 min dot vers. is a bit more money and I think it's been recently discontinued. 24x is a bit too much magnification for starting out but great once your in to it.

Leupold 6.5-20 EFR is an excellent scope. Probably a bit more than you think you want to spend right now, but this one you'll only be buying once. Leupold's warranty is servicable in Canada and reticles can be changed for about $100. Don't be afraid to buy used Leupolds.

A decent inexpensive scope, that served me for years is the Bushnell Trophy 6-18. It's second from the bottom of their line. Has X-hairs and mini-target turrets. Usually goes for about $289.
