I have just recently purchased a CZ 455 in 22LR and am looking for opinions on what optics would would work best for the silhouette application. I am looking to spend the upwards ball park of 800. Must be easily adjustable and to easy track in the turrets (does not have to be exposed turrets and yes i will be using a range card). I will be using up to 16x zoom. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I shoot with a serious group of silhouette shooters here and in the US. By far the most popular scope is a 6.5 - 20 Leupold with a .5" dot and target turrets. There are quite a few using the newer 25X as well but if you want variable the 6.5 - 20 is my choice.

ditto...

I have both the Leupold 6.5-20 EFR and the FX-25 on my silhouette rifles, for smallbore I prefer the 6.5-20 EFR as it focuses closer allowing me to practice at my local 25 yd. indoor range, but both are excellent scopes. The 6.5-20 EFR might be a bit above the price range, but worth it... although, I did pick mine up used for just under that.

I have a CZ 455 as well. Just bought a Vortex Diamondback. Looking for rings. I was told that CZ has "proprietary" rings. There has to be something other than CZ rings. I work in a machine shop. I may just have a set made.

another recommendation here for the Leupold 6.5-20 efr. I picked an older one up in great shape for $500... I also have a sightron SII big sky 24x that I really like, which will come in under your price point.

Our local gunsmith builds a set of his own rings for the dovetails on top of that receiver..... At the same time, he can build them to the height that would best suit your style of shooting.... In this case, a taller ring than to accommodate an off-hand, non-supported stance....

When I was shooting rimfire silhouette I used a 6.5-20x Leupold EFR. Great scope and popular for a reason.

That's really a game I should get back into.
