Silly Question, Would Gophers be out on a Windy Day?

I am debation whether or not to go out. It is beautiful out about +25C however the wind is gusting to 50km.

Would the gophers be out or would the wind keep them in there holes?

some should be out, not as many as a calm day. But enough to keep a guy busy. Check the sheltered valleys and hill sides.

Well, I'm in the Hat right now and I've seen the gophers at the college poing their noses out from time to time. Get out and check some of the coullees that may have some shelter to them. If you don't get any, you've managed to get out of the house and spend the afternoon wandering the prarie with a rifle.
