For those of you who may not be familiar with this product its a weapon mounted laser range finder capable of ranging out to 3200 yards!

You can find them here on our site;

https://shopquestar.com/shopping65/shopexd.asp?id=2902&bc=no

Everything you require to mount it, configure it and zero it is included in the kit.

We've been playing with one of these on a demo rifle for some months and to say we're impressed would be an understatement!!!!

Co-witness (POI) the RADIUS with your optic then in the field, view the target through your scope, press the range button and make your corrections, fire your shot.

No more having to get out of position, no more trying to talk your spotter onto the target (or vice versa), no more trying to find the target in the lower power handheld units or finding a stable position for them to work. Game Changing???? You Bet!!!

For more information on the product visit Silencer Co.'s website here;

Is this a different model? I thought it was rated for 1760 yards / 1 mile.

Edit oops. I see that in the manual it says maximum range of 3200, that must be in very low light and reflective targets.

The weaker the battery gets, the dimmer the laser will be, and ranging gets shorter and shorter with many finders. It's good to keep them topped up. I know the manual says 12 hours of continuous ranging, but doesn't mention the laser - most likely because it's only used for sighting and alignment like you mention.

Did you have much movement or wiggle in yours to settle in after adjustment? I'm looking at aluminum rail segments instead of polymer. Have you removed and remounted it before? Did you have to realign for zero or does it hold?

Not a stellar review but still still very good, about 45minutes with a lot of details.

What's up with the price? RADIUS was discontinued and is being sold for low to mid $400 in US.

We've not been informed by Silencer Co. that they've dropped it and our cost is well above the $400.00 USD you mention so.....

I've reached out to them to find out what's what.

Stay tuned,
Scott

We've just recevied confirmation that they have indeed been discontinued. We've remvoed them from our website.

It came as a surprise to me, these units aren't old and the only product commercially out of their weapon research. Any idea on the story?

The short answer is demand, or more importantly lack of. As is many times the case a company will create / build something that they think is a winner only to find out no one wants to buy it.

Instead of removing them from you website.
You would make more friends (loyal costumers) if you put them on sale in the $550-$750 range.
Just an idea.

:cheers:
