sitting here chatting with a coworker about reloading.
we are both newbies to the reloading scene and we have a question.

he has some MFS 308 bullets that have a silver case.
is this silver brass?
can this be reloaded, cleaned and resized like normal brass.... brass?

MFS is pretty cheap ammo and is known for their cheap steel cased ammo. I doubt MFS would be using nickle plated brass. It is more likely just MFS's normal steel cases that haven't been copper washed, in which case no it can't be reloaded. At least not with good results! if by come chance it is actually nickle plated brass then, as already mentioned, it can definitely be reloaded.

This is the round.

Thanks for the help guys!

silver bullet are for werewolf and vampire lol , what are you doing with the brass?

Well I bought an M14 of of a guy locally in my home town and he had a bucket of assorted ammo that came with the deal. I've got 150(ish) of these and from the sounds of things I'll probably be chucking it (the empty cartridge that is). I have enough good brass that I don't need these if they won't work well.
