I will post some pix this weekend, was away for a few weeks and haven't used it since.

The read out is dead on as far as accuracy, the last test showed the shots exactly on the paper as were seen on the display.

I am about to order one of these.

Got a chance to try one out this summer on the 900M line during service rifle practice, an Fclass shooter brought it out.
He offered to help me setup target stand and to get this running with a figure 11, so that’s something i should be in good hands.

Before spending i wanted to inquire on product durability and reliability,
1+ year later, does it still work well and does it still give accurate readings?
 
I deliberated on the solo - seems like good technology - however I ended up getting a Target Vision 1-mile camera for close to the same price- so far has worked flawlessly to 1000yds, and crystal clear pics.
I don't think you'll be disappointed with either unit
 
What i liked when using the solo, me and a shooting partner we’re it using simultaneously,
I had let’s say odd numbers abd he had evens, shooting each or turn on the same figure 11 target,
Turns into friendly competition as we can compile results afterwards in solo app.

My main attraction for this, is being 2 shooters on same target,
No one in the butts to manage us, and be able to see in real time.

Your camera does that too but does need patching at some point, and being 2 on sane target isn’t as easy.

I got his autotrickler/auto throw stuff by necessity,
Still pissed off that a CDN charges USD pricing,
For my FX120 i had no alternatives, for this i do.

I just love this logic. Let’s not support a Canadian product because they do there pricing is USD (the bigger market) and buy US made stuff sold in USD instead.
This is Ridiculous. It’s still made in Canada.
Your using and are happy with the powder measuring system??
I just don’t get it.

There is a difference made in Canada, if sold in CDN Dollars a dollar is worth a dollar. If sold in US dollars a dollar is worth whatever the exchange rate is that day. Now for a small purchase it is not much but say you spend $10k or more a big difference.

Yes I do realize this.
I pretty sure that Canadian companies that price there products in usd are doing it for the convenience of the majority of their market. Not to trick Canadians in to paying more. It has a certain value, doesn’t matter if it’s in usd or Canadian dollar.
 
FYI the Shot marker is priced at 799usd
And the solo at 850usd
No trick here.
Hope the solo isn’t made with any off shore parts or anything so it gets hit with duty on the way up?
One of the local clubs has been using shot markers for the practice nights they work great if the stands are setup right. Another club bought some silver mountain targets and are selling or have because they can’t link as easy as the shot market.

When you get charged canada post shipping charges in USD you lose me, that's just laughing at me.
I am sorry but did the ''support Canadian'' a few years ago, you won't win me over it's a lost cause.
I will continue to purchase auto trickle stuff if needed, because there's no alternative.

Now eff it, I only support great Canadian companies now, not just any company because they are Canadian.
In my Canadian products I love my IBI barrels, MDT chassis and mags, Insite arms brakes, Trigger Tech triggers, ATRS scope rails and rings, for the rest, they won't get my business just because it's made in Canada, they got to be worthy of my dollars.

I may be out to lunch on this one, but been thinking yes it is to trick CDNs into paying more.
When you charge shipping more than anyone else (before conversion) and put it in USD over that, you know someone's out to leech as much monies as he can.
I own and operate my own private business with a staff of now 17, I get that my policies do not work for everyone, hence a free market, the ones that don't like my business practices can buy somewhere else,
Same with this guy, free market, he can do whatever he wants, it's his business to do what he wants of it.

Who here has been using the SOLO for more than a year and is entirely satisfied?
20+ outings would be a nice indicator.

I've had mine for over a year and still love it.
Makes long distance shooting and practice a breeze, I've got mine setup at 300 - 900m with no issues.

I chose the Silver Mountain because the guy who owns shotmarker used to work for Silver Mountain and basically took their work and copied them, that just doesn't sit right with me.

There's many differences between the 2 systems and more than 1 story about how that all came about. We're lucky to have 2 options to choose from at very affordable prices.
Electronic targets are definitely the way to go and a portable frame isn't hard to put together, mostly if you shoot with a scope.
