Silvo Metal Polish Wet Tumbling

It will work well for dry tumbling with corncob/walnut in my experience, but I couldn't say how well it works for wet tumbling. A quick perusal of the MSDS indicates that it is water soluble, so you could try adding a small amount to the water in addition to the usual detergent and Lemishine. I doubt you can improve on the results, but it might offer better resistance against tarnish.

You will certainly not have to worry about airborne silica prticles if you are wet tumbling and the amount of ammonia is not going to harm cases.

I was looking for an alternative to lemishine since it tends to yellow the brass a bit. I think I might just try a quick rinse with baking soda/water after the usual lemishine/dawn platinum mix to neutralize the citric acid.

Dishwasher rinse agent (e.g. Jet-Dry) is an alternative to Lemishine.

If you are getting discoloration, you may want to try a smaller amount of lemishine, say about a 9mm case of it. It is something of which you don't need to use a large quantity.

I soak all my brass in pure citric acid 2Tbs per liter (5 pound bag amazo..)( plus a squirt of hand soap) and tumble them by hand for about 5 minutes then rinse in hot water. If something is tarnishing your brass it's the other stuff in the lemmi that's doing it. (I also shove them in the dry tumbler walnut and Nu-finish when dry) so they won't stick to the dies

Edit: result

It's not tarnishing, just yellowing. I like the gold colour when they're freshly washed, it's pure aesthetics. Once they sit for a few days, they go more yellow.
