Simcoe Muskoka July match

Wow what a day, heat was crazy, shooting was great, everyone will love the sk ammo from mystic precision, lunch was great and the people even better

Yes, it was a great event! The landowners were awesome and even hosted everyone for lunch! The sponsors, Trombly’s tackle and Mystic helped out with some great prizes and the organizers - Scuba52 - did a really great job of putting it all together!!!!!!

I thought the course of fire was superbly thought out. It was very challenging. The longer range targets are especially interesting for me because the wind plays absolute havoc with one’s ability to make hits on target. For me, it all falls apart when the wind blows and it adds a tremendous amount of unpredictability and challenge - it certainly challenges me. I am the first to admit I’m not good at doping the wind, but Scuba52’s course of fire will make one stretch beyond the easy, and this is just what the Dr. ordered for improving one’s skills in a helpful and supportive environment. The event had a nice relaxing atmosphere, and the people were great!!! No stress, no pressure and no BS. A great outing for sure!!!
 
Wish we could have been there Scuba but duty called and I needed to shoot a registered match. My shooting partner, Scot the Hammer 1T, slept in and didn't make the shoot. Anyways that's a different story involving a boat and shoal which we will inform you of at our next gathering. Any ideas on dates cuz I really would like to come back and the Vudoo is dialed in now and shoots incredible. It took first and second in open at Lower Trent on Saturday! You aren't kiddin about the heat WOW I think it boiled about ten pounds of fat out of my old a@@. Glad to hear everyone had a great time like there was any doubt they wouldn't!! Hope to see all of you soon. Cheers Chris and please say hello to the gracious landowner and his family. Lucky to have them as friends who also love the sport
 
You might want to keep the 24th of August open��, just finishing some stuff out and the next match might be a little different

Jerry you have been a great help as well as resource for quality ammo, that sk match wouldn’t miss a target all day. I went 9 out of 10 on a 1/4 inch target at 50 and 8 out of 10 at the 300, everything in between seemed like a chip shot. My 12 year old son shot as well as I did, he shots so well I had to send him home so he didn’t beat me. Some stiff competition for the day keeps it fun
