Just in case there are some people in the area that dont visit the rimfire forum.
I am starting a rimfire competition with similar stages to the cprs, but without the barricades for now. Looking to run a series across the local area over the summer as long as i can find the property to accommodate. Have the first round set for the 27th of april.
Location is 15 minutes from the intersection of horseshoe valley and 400. Keeping the costs low ($30) per event.
If you are intrrested let me know.

Resurrecting this :) Is this still going on? Would love to attend

Think we can get enough guys together next year? Seems like a lot of shooters are moving into precision shooting now that other sports are fading due to the OIC...I am one making the switch next year and wouldn’t mind some rimfire matches locally

We ran our 2020 precision rimfire season here in Saskatoon with about 5 regulars and 5 occasionals. It can survive with a smaller group than most other shooting sports because it is so easy to build a match, run a match, and practice.

id be willing to drive up there to a match, especially if there was a beginners/newbie relay included.

Sorry for my ignorance but is the course set up for a lot of physical discipline? I'm in my 60's and can run a LITTLE but by the end of the day my knees would pay for it.

I think if I was to run matches again it would focus on elr rimfire exclusively, I have never really been into prs which is why all of my matches were shot prone with fairly small targets

Post here if you do. I live in Barrie and in the process of putting together a new rimfire build..would love to shoot close to home

Pretty well but steel, and still stages like prs just no positional, I’m to old lol, I figure the elr can be run in like an hour and have some fun shooting small targets at different ranges. One stage people for a kick out of was skewers at 25 yards, or the golf ball sized target at 125
