Guaging interest in a rimfire series, looking at doing a series of events across the area with stages similar to what the long range shooters of utah have done. Range anywhere from 25 to 300 mostly prone or sitting. If you are interested in hosting this spring or competing let me know. Event Costs will be guaged by # of competitors looking to keep it under 50. Any questions please post or pm

Thanks, i did one of the cprs events last year and had a blast. Rick and the guys do a great event, not really looking to compete with them just looking for a more local, way more frequent type competition. Should be able to keep it relatively cheap and hopefully do a couple of shoots a month as long as people are interested and maybe a local gun shop or a site sponsor hop on for some help

I just came back from their today. Upto 30% off their instock CZ firearms. Paid 769.99 for my 16" barrel. Cleaning the barrel right now then mount a scope for this weekend.

Off hand shooting, probably not the best once it's top off with a scope. But she'll be a bench/prone rifle so the 16" barrel will be nice and compact for my needs up at my cabin.

Picked up a brick of Eley Edge and a box of Eley Match to compare.

Not sure yet, looking for a volunteer for the first shoot and go from there. If i can find someone with a farm and keep it so his cost is down we can keep everything cheaper, would just be the cost of a few gongs and some paper. Would be nice to get 12 or so people interested

Should help to start, might have to look at a test run, still looking for a location through word of mouth. Possibly free, depending on location.

Yeah. Would be nice to secure a volunteer’ed property with safe back stop (splash zones) Steel for rimfire 22 isdoes not have to be AR500. Props? We are only limited by our creativity....

The CRPS effort by Rick and crew is a wonderful initiative and demonstrates amazing potential for growth!

Cheers, Barney

Definitely, what rick does is awesome, thats kind of what got me interested in trying this, he isnt in the area at all this year from what i can see and the 1 event i went to last year was a blast. The first competition (if i can get this going) would be pretty modest for props but have to start small and go from there.
