I have a simmons 6-21x44sf on one of my .22's and the glass is quite nice for the price, however i've heard over and over that if you own it long enough it will break. So my rimfire its fine, not gonna miss a boone and crocket gopher!
if it is any thing like the blaser scopes.not worth the price.they will not standup to the recoil of larger centerfires.the crosshairs came loose in mine after less than 20 rounds out of my 30-06.the glass seems good for the price but not for anything will any amount of recoil.
I have only had experience with the Simmons 6.5 X 20 Whitetail Classic scope.
This is a quality scope made in the Philipines. I had one for about eight years. I ended up selling to a shooting buddy. He is very pleased with it's performance.
Simmons like most scope manufacturers offers both entry level & premium scopes. I have found that inexpensive scopes can be costly.
The predator part refers to the people selling it to you.
I had a Simmons 6-20x 44 with mil dots. Glass was kind of crappy but fine if you were used to looking through a glass full of water. I was having trouble getting any real groups with my Winchester M70 in 243WSSM. I had some reloads and tried to zero the rifle. However the scope didn't seem to be tracking or adjusting properly. I take another shot and I can see the crosshair vibrating. The scope ended up in the garbage.
