I just got one for $94.95 and I couldn't be happier. Rugged, compact, water resistant, and easy to use. Came with a carry case that can also mount on your belt like a holster. I think its good for up to 700 yards under ideal conditions. I like it better than the comparable Bushnell for 3x the price. It uses a 9v battery and has a 30 second auto-off function. The battery should last a while. Only niggle is that it calculates in yards only, and I am metric man. Oh well, still a lot of value for the money. Worth checking out is you're in the market for a nice compact range finder.

I used it in the rain at the range yesterday. I only tested out to 105 yards, but worked great on not-so-reflective targets. My Bushnell struggled under the same conditions.

1 yard and under accuracy.

It may be a bit of time to test it on deers! However, I tested it on a stop sign at 382 yards, and it was late afternoon and overcast. Good enough for my needs.

if the sale is still on for this coming week, i may drop in to check it out!

Stop signs are highly reflective, and overcast or darkness is not a detriment for a laser rangefinder. Now if you were hunting stop signs, that would prove that the range finder is adequate for your uses.

Sorry it doesn't pass your test. My suggestion would be to buy a $600 unit to be sure it works for your needs. Your sarcastic comment wasn't needed as any moron knows a stop sign is highly reflective.

What are you saying stubby? Sorry it doesn't pass your test.

I asked if you would post the range that you can range game animals with, as I am curious as to how good a rangefinder can be for this price.
And if you were to do that, and post the results, prospective buyers might have an idea what they are getting for the price, so they don't buy one simply because of the price, only to find out that it doesn't live up to their expectations.
