I have read a lot on the internet the the XCR's have a very thin barrel......straw thin and it seriously affects accuracy, barrel life and if you rapid fire at ALL your shots are for ####. This true?

Thanks, UTAF

The Canadian versions use a heavy 3/4" barrel. It is not light weight/thin by any means.

Complete BS on the XCR's sold in Canada.

Barrel could pry a farm kid's arm out of a combine without bending... Used mine to change a tire on my truck the other day... I think it's more accurate!

Its thick......

I was all grins when I took mine out for the first time..... I dont have my SL8 anymore, but I would say the Robarms is almost as thick as HK's.

Poor thing.... its been here for two weeks and I havent even fired it...:(:(:(

Gord.

I can attest to good barrels. At least in my example. My 6.8, not done break in yet, is shooting 3 round MOA groups time after time. I'll get pictures during next 40 round session. I'm VERY pleased with it. It's currently shooting better than my Tavor....

I'd like to see a 40rnd group from a 6.8 XCR. Keep us posted.
