Simpson Auction question

It's a 12.3 CA. Took a week and a half to get the transfer papers but is in my hands as of 1:00pm today! A member here has sold me a linking tool and a few more belts. I have what I think is a AA mount but am not sure if/how it fits on my 309 tripod. If anyone here has a photo or link to one please let me know.
 
put the aa mount on the rear pin hole thingy

put the 2 hoops over the knobs on the rear of the tripod

put the third hook rod into the slot on the front pin thingy-its the one that goes up and down-

crank the front mount down and lock it
 
im guessing the rcmp had a look at it before the auction because the word is they are grabbing them all mid transfer for testing .im still waiting
 
these things had very 'sound' conversions including blind pins preventing disassembly of the trigger group...maybe they aren't targeted by the wonder-cops
