Geez. Is this "whiny Friday" today?

You bought something you could have got here in Canada, and are complaining that the cost of getting it here is too much. Nice! They ship by fast air because too many whiny dudes complained about how slow the ground mail is.

So much fail.

Cheers
Trev

I disagree, Trev. There's nothing wrong with hunting around for the best price. If in fact the company offers you different shipping options, and standard USPS shipping is one of them, they made an error and should make it right.

Sinclair has always been very good for and to me. I would also recommend them. Didn't you see the total before you authorized payment?

I have always had great service and shipping from Sinclairs. I also order online and use USPS. It always take 10 days or so, but is cheap and reliable.

Whenever I want anything I pick up the phone and call Sandy who is their international expert.
I always order from Sinclair/Brownells unless Natchez is cheaper.

Who did you speak to about this before you came here and lambasted them? Get a manager on the phone or someone who has override power.

I'm sure it's just a simple error - like a wrong box got clicked with your order entry.

I have always had tremendous assistance from them and will shop there again.

THIS IS A BIG RIP OFF, PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT SINCLAIR BY BUYING FROM THEM...Customer service was not of any help and their attitude was, NOT MY PROBLEM! So lets make it their problem, e-mail them at ,SinclairIntl.com, Tell them they will have to do better for their canadian customers or they won't have any. It will take numbers or nothing will change, Please take the time to e-mail them and pass this on.:stirthepot2:..Thanks, Dean

That's a lesson I learned a few years ago, my one and only purchase from them. They don't have anything I need badly enough to pay their outrageous shipping charges.

I have had nothing but superb service from Sinclair International; very knowledgable staff and reasonable in terms of shipping cost and always prompt. I do however take the time to discuss shipping options with whomever I speak to at the time of ordering and have the advantage of a "mailbox" across the border.

Just my $0.02

Me to, but I did make a mistake when I ordered an RCBS press for a bud of mine for christmas last year, some how I pressed the over night ship button and that $140.00 press cost me $129.oo in air freight, but I'm the one that made this error. FS

I talked to their customer service people, you know, the ones that are paid to help solve customer concerns, I got the royal run around, SO YES I DID TRY TO RESOLVE THIS BEFORE SPEAKING OUT.

When ever you order stuff from the USA, always ask if it can be send by US postal service. If it cant, you will be paying more than you think is fair for shipping. Also, if shipped by courrier (UPS especially!!) you will get RAPED again at the border for their over inflated "brokerage fees"

Brad

I ordered from Midway USA and the total cost was less than $40. It seems that Sinclair does gouge on the shipping...

Since when does Midway ship to Canada? Last I heard they were vehemently opposed to that, after getting burned.
