I've always shot 1911 single action type pistols.
I recently purchased a Sig 220 double action. the trigger is noticeably different and I'm having some difficulty adjusting.

Does anyone have any tips on shooting a double action pistols both accurately and effectively (i.e. IDPA style).
Appreciate the help.
 
Main thing will be practice,
My Sig 220 is old model in 9mm abd the trigger is
about as good as it gets, new models I am not up on.
