Pistol barrels
New TC Contender
Super 14" 44 Mag SS $520 (if you have a NR frame this will keep you above the 26" req. to maintain NR)

And a carbine frame will be easy 1000$ now.

Really never imagined = I have a few of them... :dancingbanana:

I sold my 44mag barrels = I'm into 45 Colt have two 45 Colt barrels

Best part of a Contender is you can install 14" barrels onto the nonrestricted frames and go hunting with them...

14" barrels with factory Rynite butt stocks are 27.5" OAL your 12" barrel with a factory butt stock is 1/2" to short.

This is my all time favorite Contender carbine chambered in 338JDJ #2 gives me 2500fps with 180gr Accubonds and 2350fps with 200gr SST's.

I was blacktail hunting with my 14" barreled 6.8SPC this morning

I shoot grouse in the head/neck at 80 yards with my 14" barreled 17HMR

I do not trust LEO's and there lack of firearms law knowledge so I always go longer than I need so there is no question.

Example I had two 23" barrels shortened to 19" instead of 18.5" so there was no way they could mistake the measurement.

This is one of the barrels I had shortened to 19" it is chambered in 6.8SPC the other is a 204 Ruger

If Winchester or Browning had made a 44 Mag version of the 1885 that would have been a really nice combo.

Browning did make the 1885 Low Wall in .44 magnum. Very rare.

Also very rare is a Ruger Model 3 in .44 magnum. I passed on one years ago and still regret it.

One could do the same build on an encore action is a bit heavier than the contender but still a very compact and handy rifle action lots of aftermarket barrel options out there also

I'll part with Contender barrels but I will never sell a non restricted Contender frame.

I have two sons and two grandsons so far that will inherit them.

Iam hopeing that ssk actually gets there ssk50 receiver in production I actually have a preorder for one through my uncle in the states
