I have a Boito Reuna in .410. I love the simplicity of that firearm. And even tho Boito isn’t known for being a quality product, that firearm has never failed me in the last 8 years. It litterally feels like an old soviet tank. It’s unrefined, crudely made, but never fails.

I’m looking to buy something similar in 12ga. New Boito Reunas in 12ga are hard to find. The only one I found in Canada is 240$. Is there something similar in another brand? I know there are lots of Turkish foldable single shot shotguns, but I’d really like something with an ejector instead of an extractor.

Any reason that you aren't considering a Cooey single shot in very good condition?
Inexpensive, reliable, and all with ejector.

The H&R NEF Pardners ... single shot shotguns were simple and reliable guns made in the US .... and cheap.
Unfortunately, they are not made any more ... production stopped a couple years back.

But they pop up on the EE from time to time .... some in nearly pristine condition ....

My Sinsinati 12ga single shot has an ejector. So Turkish guns with ejectors certainly exist.

I went with this over something like a cooey for a few reasons: Removable chokes, an 18" barrel and a vent rib on the barrel. The price ($100 on sale) was another factor. Sure, you can get a Cooey for pretty cheap (although not as cheap as what I paid unless its in really rough shape), but the features aren't to my liking - no vent rib, no removable chokes, and if it has an 18" barrel its most likely been cut down from a longer barrel and thus has no choke to it at all.

There will never be a Chinese gun in my gun safe. 18 inch barrels are not under consideration either.
H&R/NEF single shots are a good choice too, but tend to be more money than Cooey shotguns.
Removable chokes, vent ribs are very desirable, but scarce in a useful barrel length - without spending a small fortune.

There are the Baikals with a selector for eject/extract. Either that or a Cooey.

The cheap $100 turkish single shots are just that cheap, lol. The worst triggers on a shotgun I've ever experienced. I'm talking about 10 - 12 pounds minimum and they have that ####ty folding design which does not allow for tool less breakdown of the gun.

I have a turkish single, removable chokes, ejector, it works great and is a joy to carry. I frequently grab it over a multitude of other, "better" choices.
YMMV

Why are you stuck on an ejector? Do you just enjoy picking up empties?

Most newbies absolutely require a vent rib, ejectors, screw in chokes, and a low price. So they get the quality they ask for.
By the way is it even possible to buy a pump gun with a plain hunting length barrel in 2021?
With shotguns and scopes, often newbies have very high requirements for no reason other than perception of what is desirable.

come on, we must acknowledge that in a single shot, ejectors allow for a faster follow-up shot.
which comes in handy for small (grouse) or large (bear sized hares) critters.

If you can get a second shot on a grouse with a single shot you've got me beat in reload speed! (unless it just stands there while the shot flys over its head, that doesn't count. Lol)

You should look at the join date before calling people newbz…

Speaking of single shot shotgun... I can't be the only one who wouldn't mind something like "field" version of a Browning BT-99 or Beretta MK2 to take hunting?
