9mm Single Stack?

Got one of each... a BHP MKIII double stack & Colt Combat Commander single stack. I love 'em both...

In the single stack 9mm category, I prefer the downsized Star (the BM, if memory serves). Sort of a slightly smaller gov't model, very comfortable to shoot. - dan

Star Models B (full size) and BM (compact/commander type) are very well made & functional 1911 style single stack 9mm's. I once had a Model B (picked up for a paltry $125 with 3 magazines) that shot like a house on fire. Wouldn't hesitate to own one of these 'sleepers' again...

I have no problems with them. Anyone with meaty web area between the thumb and first finger should watch out though.
