Single stage assembly line

I was completely indifferent to what they were doing.
Up until they seated a bullet into a case that had charge that filled to the mouth .... then I think I had a mild stroke !

They didn't show if they used credible projectiles that were within spec.... not sure that I'd want to know.

Necessity is the mother of invention.

I suspect that those cartridges will work well for their intended purposes and in any case will be much more effective than no cartridges.

Absolutely nothing wrong with a compressed charge.

Say with IMR3031 the 7.62x39 case gets full before you can push the cartridge to its maximum. If they have a similar, older type powder then there's no problem with a compressed charge.

It appears to be 7.62x39 ammo they are making which if I am correct does not necessarily depend on anything but cyclic rate for accuracy.
I thought using an old drill press to seat the bullets was creative.

Want to translate that into English?

I only came across that expression about 10 years ago in the book Bravo Two Zero about an SAS guy in the Gulf War.

It basically means the same as "pulling your leg", but it has an amazingly crass origin. Apparently people used to think that a morning piss hard on was actually full of piss, and this "fake" hard on (not caused by something more interesting) was kind of symbolic of someone being proud for no reason. So, taking the piss meant to "deflate" a proud person. I think now it's used for teasing or joking in general, not just cutting down to size someone who is being proud.

I think it's mostly used by Brits and Aussies.

These aren’t being loaded to print groups…
I’m guessing the machining is to aid in extraction? The rest is all reasonable as far as intended accuracy is concerned. I load compressed loads regularly. I could literally fill a case like that and not have pressure issues. Hard to maintain accurate overall cartridge length, but probably not a concern here.
I’m sure they work fine.

Correct, very common to hear this in the UK
